Kelly hides behind her mask of fear.
Hideous faces appear to her.
Whispering lies of intoxication
They fill her head with visions of hope
She blocks them out with dope
The mask remains melted to her face.
Never to come off.
Paranoia eats away at her sanity.
Her soul is tattered and shall never move on.
Stuck in this hell
Where she believes she belongs
Your new poem
Hi
Its great to read a poem like this full of subtle symbolism of an altered state of mind... sometimes when one believes one's deep seated lies, they begin to believe their internalized facts taht may be other than truths. Paranoid state then supervenes.
I like the poem very much. My sincere appreciations!!!
