What ever this is
Or whatever is was
It seems to me that
I chose love
Though love does not
Always look the same
Sometimes it's tough
Sometimes it shames
Only to make us see the light
We cannot allow
Some things in our life
Whatever this is
Whatever this was
It seems to me
That I choose love
Ultimately
For happiness love rocks!
Love love
It ain't always easy but so worth the cause

It was a wonderful choice to name this lyrical treasure after the highest love, the most profound love, not the fragile eros. Your resignation that love is indefinable and yet you give it a chance is expressed with insight and charm:
"Whatever this is
Whatever this was
It seems to me
That I choose love"
I love the device of repetition, and you used it deftly with an enjoyable effect. Lovely work.

I am sure the words will
I am sure the words will assemble themselves into lines when the time is right. That kind of poem cannot be hurried, it needs to percolate, or simmer (whichever metaphor you prefer) until just the right moment. I am looking forward to seeing it, when that time is right/
