Rabbit

I don't fear you

As you represent my fears

Instead I choose

To learn your lessons

As I have called unto you

Author's Notes/Comments:

The lesson of rabbit... What you fear will come to you.

Though shalt not fear. I choose love, I choose faith. The fears that arise, I choose to face.

Rabbits

Rabbits are soooo cute, how could those whiskered wiggle nosed animals be a symbol of my fear. The symbols of my fears look nothing like rabbits. Fear huh? My brother used to shoot them and we used to fearlessly fry them, make gravy and eat them. Rabbits.

Fear

There is a story about rabbit once being best friends with a witch. Rabbit became afraid of witch after having been healed by his friend when he was near death. Ultimately, the witch cast a spell on the whole rabbit clan that what they feared would come to them. Now the rabbit calls out to predators in fear, the predators hear them, the rabbits get scared and freeze up and get eaten. Had rabbit expressed gratitude instead of fear with his healer friend then he wouldnt have gotten his clan in such trouble.

Of course the real story of rabbit is much more elaborate.

Rabbit teaches many lessons. And fear is still a healthy reaction to danger. We just cant freeze up, we need to tale notice and protect ourselves.

Yeah, rabbits are pretty darn cute!... And soft.

And Those Darling Ears

Ah, Rabbit, lost to your own stupidity

in lieu of gratitude, you chose pride

over warren need.

.

Ah, fear, the lot of rabbits when danger

grins hungrily. Afraid of shadows,

unable to face escape and survival,

you die in the teeth of bad choices

made long ago.
