And rises to cold reality in the stark light
The demons don't hide, they are in plain sight
The tricks of childhood that dark can't stand the light
Have played their part as innocence knows only trust
You follow them and invite them in and they feed your lust
So kind and beguiling you follow them as you believe you must
knowing nothing of their plots and nothing of their disgust
She walks in Beaty in the night free and loved wise in blind
She knows the other, and she keeps her place in her kind
She knows there will always be this and nothing to find
When she walks in the light as the demons tug at her mind
She thinks of black and the beauty she finds
Where she asks herself as you walk by do you walk?
