It is this time of night,
Where I lay in the wake,
And thoughts of the past,
And how long she will take,

She called this love fake,
Fake was far off,
Not a close call,
How could she act,
Like love was nothing at all,

Months have gone by,
Rivaled by years spent together,
As I lie in this wake,
Wondering why,
And how long she will take,
I hope not forever.
