Twinkle, twinkle stars above,

please hear this wish I wish to you...

I wish to find my one true love,

who’s one true love I am too!

Let that love see all that I am,

even the faults which I hide.

Have him see my imperfections

yet look beyond, to what's inside.

I'd like for him to be my strength

when I can't seem to find my own.

A man who stands proud by my side,

who will never leave me alone.

And I wish for a warm ray of sunshine

in this constant storm I call life,

with a soothing voice of sanity

in the midst of all my strife.

I wish for a man that understands,

someone who's patient and who cares.

Someone to mend my tattered heart,

the answer to all my prayers...

I wish for that other half of my soul

whom without, I simply am lost.

The one who'd give his all for love,

no matter how great the cost.

So, maybe someday you'll hear my wish

and send me that love of my life.

Then we'd love, honor & cherish each other,

forever, as husband and wife.....
