"I owe it all to you"

“I owe it all to you”

Mom on this day I don’t know the proper words to address the emotions I have bottled internally.

I’ve watched you through the years overcome adversity, and inherited your will power within me.

I am in awe of your courage and strength as you continue to move forward.

Countless times I’ve shadowed your accomplishments, and in silence I adored.

My intelligence, independence, pride, and class are all qualities that are so true.

I am distinguished, directed, and strong, and “I owe it all to you”.

Now a days compassion, nurture, support, guidance, and loyalty are no longer a mother’s guarantee.

But you are the definition of traditional love, and you cover all tracks effortlessly.

I have enthusiasm, determination, and optimism with every challenge I pursue.

I am a rare and quality individual and I owe it all to you.

I know at times you observe as I approach my challenges and would like to better direct me.

But, I am an accomplished adult properly equipped with wisdom to handle challenges, because you refused to abandon or just let me be!

I’m sure sometimes you question if your mistakes will eventually become my habits; and perhaps that’s what you fear.

Mom please realize that imperfection is what make us human; build character, and if I’m ever concerned, I’m sure I’ll always have your ear.

Mom we may not always agree because I am passionate about what I believe in, I’ll leave no debate until it’s through.

Yes, mom I’m sometimes stubborn and difficult to deal with; but remember “I owe it all to you”.

I know it goes without saying, but I thank you for being my mother; without you I wouldn’t know the meaning of love.

I now realize that you just extend me the same courtesy given to you from the powers above.

Mom I cherish every day I’m blessed to witness this mysterious thing called life, and I welcome every day a new.

Mom I exist, I’m appreciated, I’m somebody special, I’m proud, I’m beautiful, and “I owe it all to you”!
