”See you soon”
As I reminisce over all the moments we’ve shared somehow I feel cheated.
I am now left with just a memory of your existence; wishing by some miracle you could repeat it!
I know no one is promised tomorrow; I just never envisioned you’d leave me!
I knew this day would eventually arrive; I just hoped that I wouldn’t be here to see!
No amount of time allotted for me to greive will ever be enough!
Contemplating this moment is not accurate preparation, because it’s extremely tough!
With every day I courageously awake alone without you; I secretly think It’s not fair!
I can’t get used to your absence because my heart is permanently reminding me that your spirit is still there!
My love for you surpasses my vocabulary; so there’s no way to describe the way I truly feel.
I will never replace you contrary to what it may appear as I attempt to allow my emotions to heal.
Please don’t be concerned by my countless tears as I reflect on how much I miss you!
I’d rather you prepare for the day we reunite in heaven after my life on earth is also through!
Inseperable in life we were and no doubt inseperable in heaven we will be!
I know you’re just as eager as I am that GOD will soon bless us with union again eternally!

Such a beautiful poem. It touched me and even reminds me of my own feelings in dealing with the loss of someone you love so much. It happens to the best of us and I hope that time has allowed you to heal emotionally. If there is one thing that I can see through this poem is that the person who you write about has definelty made a positive impact in your life and probably the lives of so many others. I believe that is the prupose of life itself.
