All of us are
a container for
holding all manner
of healthy emotions-

Love
Acceptance
Compassion
Sympathy

But people leave us.
Stop loving us.
Don't understand us.
We fail and hurt
one another daily.

Our once watertight vessel
starts to fracture
slowly at first
until we finally fall apart.

Then through the cracks,
we can see into each other
because now the light can get in
and the light can get out.
