I’ve been on this ledge before,
on the brink of falling
for all these temptations.

The loneliness whispers,
and I cannot hush
the silence around me.

My desires cast shadows
against the walls;
mirrors reflect my vices.

I feel like I’m stumbling
into the darkness,
with nothing to stop me.

Then I let go and fall
into your arms because
you’ve always been with me.

You found me here in
the midst of my weakness
and still rescued me.
