Every morning I awaken
to the beauty of Your light
filtering through my eyelids.
I stand here amazed that
Your might hands made
these majestic skies
but were also gentle
enough to mold me.
Who I am that you care
about the mediocrity
of my day-to-day life?
Who am I that you have
a purpose from me,
just another mere mortal?
Who am I that you love me?
Every afternoon I stop
and look out the window
as the day is passing by.
I sit here amazed that
You're mindful to all of
Your beautiful creations
and You also lead me
on this daily journey.
Who I am that you care
about the mediocrity
of my day-to-day life?
Who am I that you have
a purpose from me,
just another mere mortal?
Who am I that you love me?
Every evening I look up
and count the stars
shining in the night sky.
I lie here amazed that
You made all from nothing,
fashioned the galaxies
yet You also placed me
right here for a reason.
Who I am that you care
about the mediocrity
of my day-to-day life?
Who am I that you have
a purpose from me,
just another mere mortal?
Who am I that you love me?
Who I am that you care
about the mediocrity
of my day-to-day life?
Who am I that you have
a purpose from me,
just another mere mortal?
Who am I that you love me?
