We wake up to the sun
filtering through opened curtains
as it casts a glow on our lives.

We lie down to the moon
filtering through closed curtains
as it casts a shadow on our lives.
"twilight" does indeed refer to the period in the evening between sunset and darkness....also known as "dusk", but not to the similar period in the morning between darkness and sunrise, known as "dawn".
