A Part of You

I am a part of you,
a ripple in your ocean,
a seed in your forest.

 

I affect you in a small way,
not enough to be noticed
but my influence branches out.

 

A ripple can echo through
the whole sea like an earthquake.

 

A seed transported to another forest
can give life to new trees.

 

So you might not acknowledge me now,
but in time you won't
be able to ignore me.
