THE HEART OF A CHILD

Folder:
OLD STUFF

Running naked through the house

smiling wildly quiet as a mouse

A little giggle breaks the quiet

looks so fun--wished I could try it.

Wished I were 2 just like you

then I wouldn't have all this stuff to do

I would run naked through the house

smiling wildly quiet as a mouse!

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is about my 2 year old daughter Lauren.  She is a wild one!

if we could all like a mouse
run naked through the house -
then what a world this would be
innocent and so carefee...

Great poem. Keep Writing - Keep the Faith.
