Water Can Speak!

Have you not heard the roar of water?

 During bad weather,

It also turns revengeful and searches for blood,

Defying Volturnus and raising its voice in the form of flood.

It’s us who make water hostile,

 Doing reckless things being vile,

Turning the nature’s precious gift into a curse,

We are both aware and unaware, what an incredible farce!

We should learn from history and let water remain calm,

The more it speaks the more lives will certainly go mum.

Author's Notes/Comments:

In the fourth line, Volturnus is the god of the waters in Roman mythology.

Nice poem about water. The

Nice poem about water. The water will do what it does. We should take lessons from its fluidity. I aim to be like water in that it rolls where nature moves it without resistance. Just flow naturally. The floods are bound to come and the thunder harken it's arrival at times. Nature has its fury too, like men and beasts, but nature I believe, will always hold its domain over all!

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
