If awfully vicious it does sound,
As that of the ‘widow burning’ or sati,
HUMANITY hangs around!
No matter how sturdy the vice is,
No matter how evil in nature,
A shocking doom it has to stumble upon!
It has to ruin at a certain juncture.
Humanity prevails in the end,
It is ordained to win, meant to distend!
