All hail in silence

Within the forest, cool and deep,

A silver light will filter through.

Betwixt each graceful sylvan bough

The moon aloft on shadow wings

Doth stream forth her gauzy raiment now.

The birds in respectful solitude

Stifle their songs to hail the queen

In whispers of banners leafy green

Amid the silent interlude

The animals gather together

To listen to music serene.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Where did all the silence go? Sometimes you can find it, or the most beautiful music (often the same thing), in the woods.
