Be The Little Kid (Tom E. Helio version)

If I could see through your eyes to understand you

I don't know you, but you hurt my heart.

I am a human. It is just a matter of fact.

Maybe for you life is useless. Why can't you be nice?

In my dreams you stay and cry.  I know it is hard to

trust.

Have you ever been a kid?

If you haven't. Why not start now?

If you don't want to. Please don't act wiser.

Be the little kid you have inside. Let your pain out.

Stop hurting others with your demands.

I am me, I'll always be.

At my age I may not know what is life.

Maybe for you. I can't be wise.

Now tell me what have you learned.

There are many questions I want to ask.

I am ignorant, but at least I recognize it since I am

young.

Ignore your past. Be the little kid that wants to have

fun.

Be the little kid that may not know what is wrong and

right.

Be the little kid and make of a war, flowers that fall

from the sky.

Be not cruel. Where is the little kid that I sense

from you?

I am just too far away, and I can't see your reasons

for hate.

If I just could see into your soul, and correct my

thoughts.

But keep telling you to be the little kid that you

have trapped in a deep hole in your heart.

Interesting changes - your original one, however, I thought was more poignant. Why let someone else re-write your work? Nonetheless, I sympathize with the "kid" in all of us.
