The ghost in the well

[Lost boy:]

What lies in the deep?

The deep and dark

What secrets do you hold?

What makes me fear you?

Staring into the well

My body quivers

The water ripples silently

Inside my fear lives

A mystic calling

The secrets in the dark

They call my name

Life flashes by

In a moment I’m sucked inside

Suffocated by the fear

On the bottom of the well

Drowning…

[Spirit:]

Come back to reality and tell me your fears

Give me your hand and I’ll guide you through

[Lost boy:]

I have no reasons to fear the dark

And yet I am frozen inside

I try to run away

But the well is calling me

[The well:]

Come to me and I’ll set you free

Within me, the reflection of another life

Memories awake

The memories you hate

[Lost boy:]

What is it that you speak of?

Flashes of the past appear

I hear a screaming inside

But I cannot remember anything, but fear

[Spirit:]

Contra tuus metus atque iste voluntas vivo

Solvo de dolor, solvo de metus

Author's Notes/Comments:

I’ve started writting a little concept of poems. And this is one of the chapers. I write them randomly and afterwards I’ll sort them in chapters. I’m not even sure what I will exactly do with them. And I’ve written a few before, but they all ended in the waste bucket, but this time I’ll try to keep them.
I just hope you will enjoy reading them!
