Broken worn as a Crown

Lovers come and go,

Smashing my heart more and more.

Until I take the ugly pieces,

Stitch together in a crown.

A crown of love's tears,

Of sweet dreams aged into sour terrors.

I sit noble in my crown, on my hollow throne,

And cast off random wards to keep love away.

Until one beautiful star crashed into my kingdom.

Smashing all known into oblivion.

Destroying the aged habits, breaking me,

Taking my broken heart crown,

And gives me back my heart in whole.

MajesticDravon's picture

A fine image

The busted heart stitched together with pure love

And tender hands of a caring lover.

She is an angel, pausing the self destruction.

In her strong will of righteousness,  causes the dark man to create instead of ruin.

In pure awe, stunned silent he stares at what she has created.

Thank you for the read.
