Oh my love, it is time to part

How I have dreaded today

Being with you

Loving you

Is all I desired



When you told me last night

That to war you must go

My heart fainted

My legs weakened

To you I did cling



Oh how we loved

With each passionate embrace

Thinking

Believing

This may be our last



How we rose, passion released

Loud cries from our depths

Rising

Soaring

To heaven above



I was fulfilled, as never before

My body still glows

Tingling

Singing

To the one I love



You have captured my soul

My life is all yours

Parting

Leaving

Will make me bereft



Watch out for your soul

Remember my love

Trusting

Knowing

To war you must go
