Sweet Sacrifice



when i'm breaking down inside

and i've got no where to turn

i try to hide inside your smile

make another day worthwhile



when you've got me cornered alone

and you want to know whats wrong

i won't be winded-wont be long

but i wont pick up the keys to go



i think i'll stay awhile, if you don't mind

because all this extra thought, is not so kind

and all i have to say, could blow your mind

so heres alittle dose from one little ghost

just for tonight

tomorrows alright

and if i need it again

take alittle in

but i wont break your heart

against your smile

i'm on my knees keeled

catching my breathe to laugh again with you

and its a mid summers day

i make sure i've woke alone

so you don't see me this dismayed



with eyes so pretty in the sun

and buttons to your heart undone

you're always tempting me to say

forever when i already gave it away
