gave me yesterday

taking it all in today

though it's all to late



you got here right on time

left too early

maybe you had good timing

left the world in mourning



world's been moving too quick

leave it to you to slow it down

though  we had our blasts

and you burned out so fast

your love, our hearts

these memories..

i wish i could step back

step in front of you

more then i saw i could

this land has wasted part of me



it stepped out from behind

not to stand up, too

just to be full frontal

to the watching lense
