In The Long Shadow of Loss We are lead away
By trains
Tracks leading to an Auschwitz
For our Emotions
Laid by loved ones
Who have forgotten
How much it once all meant
To just sit and stare at each other
But longing,
It can't be killed that way
The ghost lingers
And will haunt the premises
Until what was lost
Is resurrected
And, two hearts - if willing,
Be rejoined together
I am still here
A Lament
Lost relationship - I look forward but trusting amd losing - future trust wll be a toughie! Good fortune afuture. Great verses - solemn wisdom here in -- just to stare at each other.
