It just so happens they need it

And make everything 'shiny as it should be'
I heard someone speak once
Can't find the speech now - just a smudge in the end
But they said something, then, widely appalling
Condemned! But now clear as day
Anyway, one day, people will be born and say
"God, how did people live before this?
Now that everything's shiny - Oh, thank Midas
He made everything shiny as it should be."
