They had to guard Liberty
From theives and rapists
So they covered her in locks and chains -

Of our perfect world

From the invaders
So they built a wall higher
On the Freedom Cage

From itself
So they watched every last word
In the Freedom Cage
The flag is flying high
So high it peers above the wall
Looks down on us all
Bow, but don't kneel
The Freedom Cage is watching
The freedom fighters walk among us
They'll do anything to protect you
From how you feel,
What you know
What - stepping out of line?
..Into the Freedom Cage you go.
