Hide away until foe clouds friend,
Shroud yourself behind the darkest eyes.
Cloak your facade to delay bitter end,
Stay your tongue until you're living the lies.

Since today holds the fear,
It's for tomorrow you pray.
But there's no room for tomorrow
If we wait for today.

Their faces shine lies
And so does their talk,
I won't hold your hand
Here when you walk.

I woke up today and wish for tomorrow,
I don't wanna be like anyone else.
I pray for today in fear of tomorrow,
Cause I can only be myself.

It will haunt you forever
If you throw away the key.
Remember not who you were,
But what you could be.

Breathless from demons
You can't seem to outrun,
Look in the mirror
And see what you've become.

If I'm made or broken, fly or fall,
I refuse to go without a fight.
A new heart drums an ancient beat,
I am the singer in the night.
