I don't know what you see when you look at yourself in the mirror,
But you have told me before that you want to tear yourself apart,
And in my mind I do it so you don't have to,
I take you apart and put you back together.

I imagine your hands back first,
Because so many days I have spent just waiting to lace your fingers with mine,
Next is your arms,
As I imagine what they would feel like around me,
Just perfect for me, perfect because it is you.
Next is your torso,
And in my mind I can see exactly how I would fit next to you, cuddled with you, I know you are the perfect size,
And then your neck and face, and it is the one I have dreamt about waking up next to,
Your nose and mouth made to fit next to mine.

Then I go down, to your legs that make you just as short as I am,
Need I say how that makes us even more of a mess for each other,
To your feet which keep you tall,

And when I take you apart and put you back together aain I do not understand at all,
How you could hate the body I find so perfect,
Every inch, every "flaw"
