I'm not hurting,
Of course not my life is swell.
I'm not crying,
The T.V in your room makes it hard to tell.
I'm fine,
All's well in your fucked up mind.
I'm hurting,
Can't you see?
I'm crying,
Can't you hear me?
Of fucking course not,
This is how it is.
You were my last hope,
Yet my story remains unchanged.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fin
I'm fi
I'm f
I'm
I
I'm not.
Fine and Not Fine!
In the title, you are fine but in the last line, you are not. The poem reveals the inner state of a lover when he is profoundly frustrated. Good work.
Thank-you dearly! It is good
Thank-you dearly! It is good to hear someone knows a way to connect to my poems, means I am getting better.
Thank-you!
