The Crowd
Tears stream down my face.
Words wont come out right.
I don't know how to think.
I don't know how to react.
The crowd surrounding me,
I don't know what to do.
Their voices growing louder.
Each trying to be heard.
I feel the tears,
I feel the eyes on me,
I feel the shock that comes from me,
I feel strength I never knew before.
I am noticed.
I am seen.
I found my place.
I am in a good place.
The crowd is not mocking me,
The people around me cheer.
They remind me who I am
They tell me I exist.
The poem is beautifully
The poem is beautifully written but poetess remember that one must not worry about the people's opinion about you. It is your confidence in yourself and your faith in God that must matter more. You may get more enlightened if I give you an example here about how people all over the world are fooled...this happens mostly in so-called democracies of the world where some fools get together on a stage or a podium and fool the people with their false promises and fake plans about bettering the lot. Read the speeches of Brutus and Mark Antony in the play "Julius Caesar" by Shakespeare and you will learn much about mob psychology and the opinion of the people....in my belief even one person can change the fate of the planet for good or bad...for instance people like Jesus Christ (PBUH), Helen Keller, Martin Luther King, Muhammad Ali the boxer, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and their likes....so care not about what the people think about you....AWAKE them all from their slumber by the dint of your special abilities given to you by your Creator, God Almighty....you are a very good poetess and may, God willing, be the best of them all those out there one day....so YOU WILL MATTER to the people and not vice versa.....Have a fabulous day.
