I just can't forget,

And I still feel upset,

Listening to sad songs,

And crying along.

I look at cute couples and feel sad,

'Cause I keep remembering what we had,

I end up crying myself to sleep,

And not wanting to eat.

I look at your picture and feel so bittersweet,

I hear your voice and my heart skips a beat,

And I hate myself sometimes,

'Cause I think of you and in my heart I feel a ray of sunshine.

I sometimes wonder whether you care,

I wonder if you think of the memories we shared,

I know you're no longer mine,

And it kills me a little when you're acting like your fine.

And all this shit goes on while,

I have to carry on with a smile,

Now I'm just waiting for the day when this pain'll end,

'Cause I'm tired of playing pretend.
