I say to others 'Everyone's unique',
Yet refer to myself as weak,
I always tell people how important they are,
And how, if they try, they can shine brighter than a star,
But when it comes to myself,
I'm like a toy on the corner shelf,
Unimportant and unwanted,
Useless, like a perfume that's unscented,
I tell others that it's okay to be different,
And that everyone has some sort of talent,
Yet, for myself, I don't believe that to be true,
But my friends say I don't have a clue,
I'm drowning in a deep pool of misery,
And I'm far from reality,
These sleepless nights are starting to take it's toll,
'Cause if feels like everything's outta my control,
I just want things back to to normal,
When life was as clear as crystal.
