I get overly-attached, or push people away,
That's why people leave, rather than stay,
I'm always trying to please everyone,
That's all I've ever done,
I find it hard to trust,
I know it's something I need to adjust,
I always need approval from others,
But that's not my fault, it's my mothers,
She's always saying how I need to be better,
I try my best but that doesn't seem to matter,
I don't have any self confidence,
The little I had, left, along with my common sense,
I'm sorry for the way I am,
If you don't want to stay, I understand,
But if you do,
I cant promise you won't regret it,
At times I can be a handful, I admit,
But no one will love you like I do,
That my promise to you.
