You said your love for me was true,
If only at the time you knew,
If only, before you said that line,
You were given some sort of sign,
Telling you to stop, telling you to go,
It would've been painful, I know,
But maybe less than it is now?
I still can't get my head around to how,
How this all fell apart,
I just wish we could restart,
Give it another shot,
Because what we had was a lot,
Too much to just throw away,
But you don't care, so I'm having to pay,
I'm willing to forgive you for all the shit you said to me,
Because that's how much I love you, why can't you see?
You said I ruined it, yet I was the only one trying?
I want to be with you,
I want to start anew,
I want to feel like I'm flying,
Like we did when we first got together,
When you told me you'd be with me forever
