Lost Love I know I'm not the ideal woman,
And that I've done a lot of things in my life.
And I know that you now want to leave me,
Just please don't say "good bye".
I may not see you for many years later,
And you may not smile when I pass by.
Just don't break my heart when you leave me,
By turning and saying "good bye".
Kiss my tears away as you once did,
And tell all my fears good night.
Let me wake up with you next to me,
To wake up with your smile so bright.
Hold me close when my fears take over,
Protect me from the devilish plight.
Look me in the eyes, like you did in my dreams,
Forever keep within my sights.
But I know I'll never have what I wish,
For a wish is whim that's so sly.
And as your lips part, for the words you're to say,
Just please don't say "good bye".
Keep me in your memories,
As I'll always keep you in mine.
And keep her close, like you once kept me.
Just don't say the words "good bye".
