Lay your children down at night

And free their minds from evil frights

With bedtime stories of love and care

Direct their thoughts from dark ensnares



And as they drift into the plain

Where dreams come true and there’s no pain

I manifest and take their hand

And guide them to a secret land



Over the hills and through the trees

Swift and hush like midnight breeze

Alas, we’re here, at long, at last

So let’s begin the time has passed



So listen up new friends of mine

I’ll share with you my skillful mind

The truth of night and beings unique

A cast of wonders that you seek



The first of which a beastly foe

When moons are full is when he’ll show

With fur and fangs and claws for hands

Open waters have mysteries

The truth lies deep beneath the sea

Where mermaids swim and play all day

And serpents lurk within the gray



Humans seek them down, around

And this is why they won’t be found

They know they’re being hunted here

So away they’ll stay until it’s clear



Far above the Ocean's waves

Above the trees and mountain caves

The Angels' fly and watch us all

God's creations as we fall



Deep below the planet's crust

Where ash is ash and dust is dust

Demons cut and slash and hack

Our tortured souls upon a rack



Now the bad is over and done

I'll give you lads a bit of fun

So point your gaze up to the sky

And view the sun which hangs so high



The sun, itself is God, you know

With warmth and care he loves you so

Check the sky, he's always there

Loving with shining light he bares



Far within the starry sky

The Goddess looks with skillful eyes

She made her bed upon the moon

Gone one night, she'll be back soon



That, dear friends, is it for now

So step right up and take a bow

Show respect to beasts of lore

Another night I'll show you more



Lets get you home to bed, to sleep

If mom finds out your gone, she'll weep

Remember the dark is nothing to fear



I feel better about the land

I've given the kids a helping hand

So into the shadows, I'll fade away
