Just once!
i need a constant, i need something that i can hold, something i can feel....
i wish for an unmoving current, that will enbrace me without leaving me behind
once in a while i feel safe, happy.
but time moves on, so sould i?
i've stood on so much shaking crumbling ground i wonder if i'm even solid, without cracks

Speaking for my own self personally that has always been a constant in my life. Make it a constant in yours. I always use to wonder what others who don't write do when they are upset and can't understand some awful thing that has happened either to them or to someone they love as I've always had poetry to turn to to help make myself feel better. Lean on your gift, embrase it, allow it to help propel you forward to the you you long to be. I can attest I am living proof of that. It's a huge help and an even bigger influence. Consistency of love is within our hearts at all times. All we need to do is connect with it. Consistent is always available once you open your eyes.
