Separation

I want to die,

No one hears my screams.

I can't seem to find,

All those so-called dreams.

Wishing Stars and Fairy Tales,

Are all a bunch of myths.

You've got the cross, now take the nails,

I'm tired of this shit.

You took a stab and drew a name,

Out of a dusty hat.

You think it's real, it's all a game,

Hope your senses come to that.

The angel fell,

The wood is split,

The nails are bent and rusted.

The doves been plucked,

The darks been lit,

And hell is to be trusted.

When all's the same,

Tis good, Tis bad,

And all is death and life.

All to come from that same name,

No different then the darkness,

Or that of the light.

Separation causes dispusion,

And dispusion strife,

To the point that we try to obtain this precious object that one calls life.

You think it's great,

Well good for you,

I'll let you bask in your glorified weakness.

But I'm not so blind,

When it's true nothing's true,

I find it's brighter in the lights bleakness.

So say farewell,

Twas a happy six years,

We spent trying to figure out the seventh.

But I'm living in the sixth,

Amongst all your fears,

The future is now the present.

And you still can't figure out,

Just what this poem's about.

And you still don't understand,

What was offered from my hand...

It wasn't for the reader... It was for the writer...

Little sister I love this poem.

This "Seperation" is a poem that ultimately binds both
reader and writer.

You are on a splendid journey with your poetry and your unique mind. Pablo Neruda said:

"I come from a dark region, from a land separated from all others by the steep contours of its geography. I was the most forlorn of poets and my poetry was provincial, oppressed and rainy. But always I had put my trust in man. I never lost hope. It is perhaps because of this that I have reached as far as I now have with my poetry and also with my banner.

Never lose faith in reader/writer for this is our humanity.
Keep Writing - Keep the faith.
