Some times I cry at night
Wishing you were there to hold me tight
Mom, sometimes I am scared and I don't know what to do
My life is not the same when I am not near you
Mom, there is alot of things I don't know

Mom, I am growing up more everyday
But you don't get to see it because you are so far away
Mom I try to live my life to make you proud
Try to be my own individual and not follow the crowd

Hi Wanda, I can relate to this piece. My mom died when I was 13 so never saw first dates,enggements,my wedding,two kids born etc etc. Yeah I know what it is to miss a mom
