Why Disappointment

People will always leave you with the inevitable feeling of disappointment.

It is human nature.

And, we are all left to bear the fault.

What constitutes such indiscretions?

Better yet, what initiates them?

Are we all left to emit to others that feeling of despair?

Is there a chain reaction, a catalyst, an ending?

Or, do steps repeat without a trail to the original source?

Do we doom each other or ourselves?

The really good especially do

The really good especially do we doom eachother or our selves. A question that gets asked over and over again. Great job!

The whole trick is to learn

The whole trick is to learn how not to expect anything at all.  Heartfelt.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

i think we should expect the

i think we should expect the best but prepare for the worst (as cliche as it is) its hard to go through life being disappointed but its an acrimonious life not believing or trusting in anything at all.... thank you for reading by the way X)

I think we should expect

Nightlight1220 is absolutely on the mark. I'll just say it how I see it if it helps at all.

I think Nightlight1220 was trying to say is if we expect things it is usually

disappointing because what we expect is not the same as what someone

else expects from the same situation. There are always two views of any

given situation involving two people. We can't expect people to be perfect,

we can only hope that they do their best in relationships and whatnot. I do

understand your sentiments though. God Bless.

Jacksson62--- That is exactly

Jacksson62--- That is exactly what i was saying. In short...no one's ideas of anything are exactly like anothers', and society and the media have a way of seducing, portraying, and sometimes even coersing the young and naive (and sometimes old and "all knowing"...*giggle*) into thinking that even love itself is not love unless this is so.

... i try to cut my comments short...because i am known for long winded answers to questions...lol. but doing so often leaves room for misinterpretations. I suppose people think what they want to think anyway, but i enjoy making a point clear. Clarity is most times necessary to do that. Thank you.

I think Nightlight 1220 is

I think Nightlight 1220 is right too. I have learned to not expect anything from people, but I still hope and expect the best in relationships and in life. Maybe, I shouldn't but I do, and I can't help it. The unfortunate thing is I want desperately want and think people can change. That is probably why I find myself disappointed. I appreciate all of your guys' comments and advice and statements. Thank you and God bless. :)))

Mmmm I see. Well, I can't knock that. I used to do it myself. You can , though, trust and believe without expectation.

Conditioning

We are conditioned by all kinds of media. News, papers, movies - propaganda makes us sad and angry like the collapse of the financial system in 2008, we are still recoving and no one went to jail. When justice is flaunted so openly, the people are vicious and become ferral. We can not attack huge corportions, so we attack each other. It's an animal thing ~Lady A~
