awaken are all his fears

for the world he thought was sound

slowly crumbles, falls to the ground

so as he lay, despairing, so helpless

blank is his mind, so thoughtless

tries to calm, to close his eyes

it is then he asks himself why

why did he pull himself on

when he knew he didn’t belong?

now his world lay in ruin

all of his emotions, they're flowin’

he must find a new way to cope

for he refuses the hanging rope

old piece of his world, that strand

the only remaining piece of his land

build a new world, he knows he must

restart his life, rebuild the trust

that lay in pieces, around, destroyed

he must fill and seal the gaping void…
