this isn't really a song but a dedication to all the bands i love--their music, that is

if a band
was all that held
together this man

it stupid or crazy
or just agree
and relate to me
have you ever
idolized another
for his greatness
wishing him a brother
have you felt
another's pain
felt like you lived
just to relate
have you heard
a song written to you
wishing your name
on the cover in blue
have you thought
your lives parallel
life wasn't meant
to go so swell
do you have
a wall of inspiration
dedicated to those
with your admiration
if you have felt
any of these thoughts
then most likely
their CD you bought
if this is so
then their plan
has succeeded
in making you a fan
nice tribute...keep writing and hope to see a tribute to you someday...I kinda freaked out cuz the first person to sign my guestbook here wrote a poem about me after reading tons of my poetry and it is called Get to Know Pam Schwetz but Ruth Lovejoy has so many folders, don't know where to find it now...anyways...it feels good to be appreciated even when no money is involved...it would help a great deal if I could make money because I am so low income but maybe someday who knows...anyways...I can really relate and think your poetry is great...pam
