if i told you
i wished to die
would you feel hurt
would you cry
if i said
i hated my life
would you wish
there was no knife
if i did
make my life leave
would you feel sorry
would you grieve
if you looked
and saw me
how i felt
what i have seen
then these words
would show unto thee
how it feels
to be me....

ah, i know all about the "if onlys"...its hard to tell ppl how you truly feel when how you truly feel is that you'd rather just be dead. ppl claim to want honesty but they are happier when you smile and say, im fine...sorry, i think i am going off on my own issues...excellent poem. great job
