it has the strength
to lift you high
it has the weight
of the unending sky
it has the power
to move you about
it causes pain
inside and out
it has the touch
of a pure angel
it has the prick
of rose's dark thorn
it can be viewed
from many angles
as a blessing
and a curse even
but all of this
amounts to one truth
one try after another
time and time again
the pain, the agony
the hurt from within
has painted a sign
for me to heed:
"Love Hurts You so,
This You Don't Need...."

True love doesn't hurt. Obsession, lust, abuse.. those hurt. But true.. pure.. unbullshitted love.. No. Never. It couldn't hurt. Thats why there are those 80 year old couples.. who still sit on the park bench.. making out in between bites of hotdogs and feeding pigeons. Thats love.
I haven't been here in a while....this one caught my eye..
if anyone can understand your dislike for this particular time of year...it is me. But , life is like a jump into the pool , when you hit bottom..up is all that is left...until the next cannonball drags ya under again...but ya always come back up.
