attached to my heart
draining it's love
your false words
run it bare, dry
my mind so confused
you express love
but beat me down
with your cold words
but still you drain
and still, I love
my heart, now dry
my mind now numb....
I like the simplicity in this peice. I went through all these emotions not too long ago. Very good. I always hate when you read a poem about a love going bad.. and feel the truth.
