I have been
sitting outside your metaphorical window,
gathering different
ways to tell you how I have
been waiting all night just
to hear what you might have to say
Perhaps our eyes already
have met the moon at the same time
Or maybe the winter will take you when she goes
A few letters in and
my gut has spoken and
my hands have shuffled back to their high ground,
......lest they get figured out
The world as seen through the eyes of you...
