(From One to the Other)

Other: "Your heart understood mine in the

           depth of the night.

I listened and ravished so, to your

beloved voice

Your heart understood mine."

One: "The heart is a thumbnail that races to

stay put, to stay on

Variety in time.

It races to battle. The heart cheats to win."

Other: "The heart is a sloppy, pulsing thing, it

has no authority over its own weakness"

One: "The heart lies."

Other: "The heart does not lie, that is why one

must hate and fear it

Not a one of us is capable of embracing a

truth so raw and living."

One: "The heart deceives. That's why one does hate and

love it.

It's the most talented magician of us all."

Other: "If the heart be a magician, than I guess I am a

believer of magic.

We stand in awe of what we cannot fathom, for is it

possible that some things in this world ARE real?"

One: (who's heart says nothing)

Other: You are an idiot, and I am done with your

ignorance.

Your cheating heart has won, and yet,

it has lost so gravely."
