I am in awe of the spiderweb forming at my window

Spiders disgust me with a passion but

as I watch her closely I find that she is no

different from me

Capturing and eating her prey whenever she pleases

I am ill at our alikeness, it makes me shiver with

fever like I have some sort of infection of life

And everything is swelling and closing

and I am done

I will die in my own web in due time

but it will be some other larger spider who

will suck my heart out

and it will taste like loss
