So yesterday is in the wind
I imagine it to be in Israel,
or Peru.
As long as it is no longer in my hands
And anyways, to keep something is
pointless if there are holes in your pockets
They said it could move mountains and still
hearts
I found it was yours
Well I saw it with my own two eyes,
the way the clouds were drawn to each other
and a gang of black birds that disappeared for
a minute and a half
You sat across the room and watched me
And you said
"is this what you want"
me over here, and you over there
And I gathered that inches could
be miles, if we wanted them to be
But I chose to make them nothing and
held you against my chest
My heart was connected to my head
and my hands were sleeping on your back
and that only happens when I look at
you
Beautiful love poem!
Starward
seriously *speechless*. I love each and every line of this one. This may sound stupid but just everything made complete sense, the flow is flawless.
