I can't even try to sleep.
I'm sick of all this countin' sheep,
No, no.
All that's on my mind,
Is the love we'll never find...
We were young,
We were stong,
But in the end this where we belong.
I feel so alone,
Now, I'm on my own.
And I don't know what to do,
When I'm clueless without you.
Does it make sense,
to start over?
After all that we've said,
Shouldn't we be closer,
Closer than we are?
How should I know?
What do i do?
This is a mess,
And I blame it on you!
You left me cold,
Cold and Alone.
We were young,
We were stong,
But in the end this where we belong.
I feel so alone,
Now, I'm on my own.
And I don't know what to do,
When I'm clueless without you.
Does it make sense,
to start over?
After all that we've said,
Shouldn't we be closer,
Closer than we are?
There's not much left to say.
no way to make you pay,
for my broken dreams,
and torn up seams....
my wish is gone and dead.
We were young.
And we were strong.
But I have Realized this is NOT where I belong!
No, it won't make sense,
i'm not ever coming back.
i'm sorry that we'll never
Be closer than we are.
On "Closer Than We Are"
Very intense and honest depiction of emotions and resolve. Rare to be seen...I enjoyed reading the poem. Best wishes,
